Choosing email or thumb drive
Each person needs one choice before anything can be sent. Sending stays blocked until everyone has one.
- Email results: the person signed the consent on the intake form. Their scan PDFs are attached to an email.
- Thumb drive: the person did not consent to email. They get an information-only email (how to read the scan and what to expect) with no results attached. Their scans go on a thumb drive.
The choice saves by itself the moment you change it. A returning person's last choice is filled in for you. Check it anyway if their consent might have changed.
Roughly 99 out of 100 people consent to email.
